OPEN – People, Territory and Treasures:

The project is supported by Cassa di Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno Foundation in cooperation with voluntary organizations based in the mountain area and it intends to guide visitors through suggestive naturalistic and cultural itineraries of Sibillini Mountains. Thanks to the participation of the Service Sector we intend to set up an organizations “network” to promote our territory, artistic historical and cultural excellences of the mountain area. Therefore, less individualism and more network, less information portal and more social network, OPEN is based on the culture of “a network building” between voluntary organizations , according to the basic assumption that carrying out synergies and relationships in the voluntary world will create a “value” for the community, a value which can become services, satisfied needs, attention to people and planning ability. Thus, OPEN, first of all, is an OPEN project: open in places, in its treasures, in the warm welcome of people. Starting from June, every first and third Sunday of the month, till October, thanks to voluntary organizations, come and see us! We’ll open the doors of artistic, cultural, historical and naturalistic sites to offer an uncommon, new and united image of the mountain area.
